Yesterday, Phillip and I went through a bunch of cds with old pictures on them. It is amazing how much you can change in only a couple years! It's almost as if I'm looking at a completely different girl, but I can't really put my finger on what the differences are. They're just...there. It's also crazy how scewed our perseptions of ourselves are. At the time I was so so self consious, but looking back I have to think Damn Girl! You didn't look half bad! I wasted so much time worrying.
What we do every day, no matter how insignificant, shapes us and makes us who we are. What you wear, where you go, how you treat the people you meet...everything matters. Which is why I think we should try to love every day. Yeah, it won't always happen. Sometimes life just sucks. But for the most part, we should try to make every day amazing.
And you know what's amazing?
My new business cards!
My new business cards!
Yes, I know. I don't have any clothing in the shop yet...but it's coming. I've been playing around with the serger and I think I've finally got the hang of it.
Me = stoked.
Those cards are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't even get me started on the cuteness of you in those photos.
Release the clothing already!
I am dying to see it!
Very insightful post! I needed to read it today as life is sucking right now in a lot of ways. Thanks for posting this :)

Jessica Marie - The unicorn is my fave too...I mean...come on! :)
You are a total cutie! Don't feel bad for being so hard on yourself, we all do it. A phrase that I use very often is that we are our own biggest critics.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new Moo cards. A friend of mine just got some too, and I'm thinking I need to get in on it. Your blog is awesome, by the way. I just found it.
