So guess what...
My serger came in the mail! It was very badly packed, but it works and is beautiful. I've learned to thread it by memory (it only took a couple times), and am very excited to get to sewing! I picked up some cute fabrics and fun tees to mess around with, so look for those in the shop sometime in the next couple of weeks. I've been really burnt out on sewing lately, and I'm finally getting excited about it again. Which is wonderful, because I really do love to create things.
What else...oh! We went thrifting again yesterday. I didn't find too much, but was enormously pleased with this...
and this...
Wow, two really cool things that make me wish I was ten again ;0)
ReplyDeleteYay Batman! Your a good thrifter :P
ReplyDeleteEternally Distracted : I think i am mentally 10 years old. I just love toys. Boyfriend has an entire closet filled with toys.
ReplyDeleteTwinesses : Thank you! Thrifting is all sorts of fun.
Wow, a metal gumball machine is a great thrift store find! Have you filled it up with bubblegum yet? :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't! Im actually not a huge fan of gumballs, so I'm either going to fill it with gum just for looks, or use a bunch of colorful candy...I haven't decided yet. :)
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. Reid would just drool over that batman game. he's quite obsessed.
ReplyDeleteJessica Marie : We have two, in case he's interested. You can also find them on ebay sometimes. :)
